ECS:R is a 2016 ECS-based Roblox revival that is an improvement from the original [[Economy Simulator]].
== History ==
Economy Simulator first started somewhere early in 2022-2023, but shut down due to "toxicity", but was revived by 2 people, known as Samuel and shady later in early of 2023.

On July 18th, 2026, it was announced by one of the managers in the Discord server that ECS:R will soon be shutting down due to the site's lack of user activity.

<blockquote>
Hello everyone,

As you can likely see we have completely shut down. The site has been dying slowly but surely, and we decided this would likely be the best decision possible all things considered. You can also blame Samuel for his lack of any passion to develop or change the site in any meaningful way in recent times. But anyways, thanks for all the memories and fun times, love you all.

If you want a revival to play that’s also economy based, I’d recommend Oozrev as it is mainly ran by ECS:R management and is quite similar in many ways.

Goodbye!

Currently it is just the server but expect the site aswell sooner than later
</blockquote>

Economy Simulator Reborn is known for simulating the economy of Roblox in 2016.
== Controversies ==
Reports from other people have been shown about the community and the distrust of the clients, but the client hasnt been proven of a virus/rat in it.

'''Syntax''' was an old Roblox revival hosting clients from 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2021.
== History ==
In February 2024, Syntax shut down permanently after Roblox Corporation sent a c&d complaint to the .eco registry for copyright infringement.
== Controversies ==
'''Syntax''' seems to not have been in any controversies.
