'''Austiblox''' (formerly known as '''Austiverse Novetus''', '''Rewinder''', and temporarily '''gage.land''') is a multi-client revival that originally began in May/June 2021. It currently holds the record for being the longest running revival as of right now and remains a fully active, living project.

== History ==
Before the revival was established, the owner, Gage, hosted his own 2011 Roblox servers utilizing a custom batch launcher. During this era, ''austiverse.com'' operated as a multimedia site rather than a revival; it featured flash games, a section called "jokecentral," a WordPress blog, and even hosted financial statements.

The revival project officially started in May/June 2021 under the name '''Austiverse Novetus'''. Way back in June 2021, the project used Novetus clients with a different set of patches. During this time, Gage manually whitelisted users' IP addresses before they could join a server, though this was not actually required by the patches, but rather something Gage chose to do for unknown reasons. During its early days, Gage did not have dedicated hosting, meaning players could only join places that Gage was actively hosting himself. Eventually, dedicated hosting was added to the project.

Originally, the revival also supported a 2009 client. However, this was later removed because it was incompatible with the catalog system that Gage wanted to use. However Since then it has been brought back.

Sometime after its 2021 launch, Austiverse Novetus was renamed to '''Austiblox'''. In April 2023, the revival temporarily renamed itself to '''gage.land''' as an April Fools' joke. The revival would later rebrand to '''Rewinder''' in June 2023, before reverting back to the Austiblox branding later that same year. It temporarily shut down due to personal reasons in 2023 but returned in 2025 and is still alive and active today.

The website's backend is based on Oxwall. Specifically, the games page runs on a custom Oxwall plugin called "memberads," which was heavily modified by Gage strictly to host and manage places. The site's other features, such as avatar rendering and the currency/catalog systems, were handled separately. While the project originally relied on modified Novetus clients, it eventually introduced its own original clients. In the past, the project has been purged alongside accusations regarding security vulnerabilities related to the website and client authentication.

== Controversies ==
'''Austiblox''' does have several controversies attached to its history. However, it remains impossible to verify if the accusations are true or false without solid proof from either the accusers or the defendant.
